June Company installs only premium solar photovoltaic panels and micro-inverters that are installed under the photovoltaic panels. One micro-inverter is installed per panel and each microinverter is documented and planned. After the insallation the serial numbers are entered into the system and our customer can monitor each panel individually. There are several advantages to having micro-inverters verses one single inverter string syste. The first and most important advantage to micro-inverter system is safety. The voltage between the photovoltaic solar panel and the microinverter is 24 volts DC and the wiring beween the inverters is in series so the voltage stays 230 volts AC. That is the same voltage as an electric clothes dryer or an oven. The fire department prefers the microinverter system. The single inverter system has 400 to 600 volts DC and the wiring from the inverter to the solar photovoltaic panels is run through the attic and the fire department is not comfortable with high voltage DC in an attic. The warranty for the single inverter is 10 years and has a moving fan to keep it cool. The fan fails and the inverter overheats over time. The microinverters are installed under the solar panels and each microinverter as stated earlier is wired per panel and when ordered the microinverter is custom ordered to the photovoltaic panel so there is no chance of overloading the microinverter. The warranty for the microinverter’s is 25 years making the entire system with a 25 year warranty. Another advantage to the micrinverter’s is that each individual inverter wakes up earlier in the morning and stays up later in the vening. The single inverter system must have enough voltage from the photovoltaic solar panels to power up making it later in the morning to start powering your home. Another advantage to microinverter system is if there is a proble with a single solar panel it will ony affect that single pane and inverter and all of the rest of the microinverters and solar panels keep working and are unaffected! The panel’s performance can be monitored by your home computer, Ipad, tablet, and smartphone. You don’t even need to be at home to monitor the solar panels.
